Green Herons can be found in shallow waters and are one of the more interesting wading birds to watch. Green Herons are one of the only birds to use "tools" to attract its food. Some of its tricks are dropping bait onto the surface of the water and grabbing the fish that are attracted. The Green Heron uses a number of "baits or lures" to attract its prey, including insects, small twigs, worms, and even feathers.
